With 29 penalties meted out in Winnipeg, when the Jets hosted the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night, the infraction were pretty well even, but it is difficult to believe there were no power play goals. The Jets were down 3-1 by the 17:04 mark of the 2nd period, but Jacob Trouba  and Evander Kane tied the game by the end of regulation. There were no goals in overtime. Evgenie Malkin and Sidney Crosby tallied in the shootout and Blake Wheeler got one by Marc-Andre Fleury. The Penguins took the game 4-3. One would hope not to see again the unprofessional  conduct from these particular teams. The Penguins are on top in their division and the Jets have been playing somewhat better as they sit in the middle of the pack.
