MONTREAL STILL LEADS THE WAY by Momma Gouche

The Montreal Canadiens continue their winning streak on Saturday night by defeating the New York Rangers 3-1. Montreal  has only lost one game and lead the standings with 14 points. Meanwhile The Toronto Maple Leafs went down to the Boston Bruins 4-1. The Bruins were on a roll and the Leafs only managed one goal by Michael Panik in the third period. The Pittsburgh Penguins Blanked out the Nashville Predators 3-0 with 2 goals and an assist by Sidney Crosby and a single by Evgeni Malkin. Marc Andre Fleury was stalwart in net … casting aside 25 shots. No doubt that  these three were the stars of the game. It is nice to see that the St Louis Blues ended there 2 game slide in defeating the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2,  but I am devastated that My Chicago Blackhawks have had such a bad showing of late. The have nine teams ahead of them in the overall standings. This is the team that comes out of the gate and straight to the top. As the expression goes ” There is something wrong in Denmark”. It is time to take a look at the all over set of their structure.
