Jets Lose Home Opener

The Winnipeg Jets have lost 3 of their 4 starts and much has been blamed on Ondrej Pavelec. However, most times, a goalie is only as good as his supporting colleagues. Pavelec has not had very much defensive play from his fellow teammates and has faced some devastating  plays from his opposition. In the Winnipeg Jets game against the Nashville Predators, on Friday night, Pavelec faced 27 shots and let in 2. The Predators won the game 2-0. Obviously the person, or persons who pick the stars thought he had played a credible game and awarded Pavelec the third star. I am disappointed in the present performance of the Jets, as must  all Winnipeg Jets fans be. It is a long season and hopefully the Jets will start to put out some better performances than they have so far.
