DETROIT BLOW LEAFS IN OVERTIME by Momma Gouche

It was hardly a game worth the admission when the Toronto Maple Leafs met the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night, unless you went to see the goalies stop 62 shots between them. The Leafs goalie Jonathon Bernier admits the winning goal was a bad mistake … on his part … after having handily stopped 35. There was no scoring in the regulation and Henrik Zetterberg got the single goal of the game @4:50 of overtime. Detroit has been decimated by injuries of their top players but their captain stepped up when he was needed most. Detroit now has 7 points (3 behind Montreal) and Toronto 5.
