MY HAWKS PUT OUT THE STARS IN 2014-15 SEASON START IN A SHOOTOUT

It  was the usual  fast-moving, back and forth, action  between The Chicago Blackhawks and the Dallas Stars on Thursday night, but no goals until 44 seconds left in the first period, when Duncan Keith put one past Kari Lehtonen. In the second period the Stars took over and Trevor Daley  got a power play goal and Cody Eaken add another and the period ended 2-1 for the Stars. Patrick Sharp scored for Chicago @11.10 of the third. That was all for regulation play and the game went in to overtime, but no goals were scored. Patrick Kane came up with the winner in shootout and the Hawks have their first win of the session. Goalie, Corey Crawford, did a marvelous job in holding off Dallas and it is no surprise that Patrick Kane would be the hero.
