Brandon Saad scored  … on a power play … @14:45 of the first period and added an assist  in the second in the Chicago Blackhawks game against the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday afternoon. He was named star of the game, although I thought that the 26 shots that Corey Crawford thrust aside should have earned him that  title. The Los Angeles Kings started out slow in the first period, but added some momentum in the second, winning most of the face offs. It was not the hard fought game that I had expected , but my Hawks did win 3-1. Jonathan Toews had a goal disallowed when it was decided he contacted with Jonathan Quick before the puck went in. In the end it was no factor in the  outcome of the game. Although I am hoping My Hawks will win this series, I am not ready to predict how many games it will go.
