It was another late night game on Tuesday between the Chicago Black Hawks and the Minnesota Wild. And then … the overtime!   I managed to stay awake (with short naps in between). The Gouche never made it. It was not one of the Hawks better games, but the final winning goal is all that matters, when a trip to the third round is the prize. Kris Versteeg scored @ 1:58 of the first period, to put the Hawks one up. Erik Haula tallied for the Wild @ 2;29 of the second. The third period was scoreless. Patrick Kane became my hero  when he caught a deflection off glass and put a backhand shot past ILya Bryzgalov @ 9″42 of the overtime. Both Corey Crawford And Bryzgalov  were outstanding in net, but the winning goal was a tough one to handle. The Hawks now have a second straight trip to the Western Final.
