The Chicago Blackhawks didn’t play the first period against the Minnesota Wild, on Sunday night, as though this was probably the most critical game of the series . Playing on home ice, this was their chance to face the next game, away, with the advantage of being up one. Erik Haula struck first for the Wild @16:33 of the first and Bryan Bickell, who has had a great series, got an equalizer with a power play @ 9:18  of the second. But the game began to drag, with a feeling that the next goal would be the decider. Both goals faced 28 shots and put up stellar performances. Thee, Jonathan Toews, scored @4:33 of the third and released the tension the Hawks fans were feeling. There was a lot of back and forth, with a few near connections, but the Hawks managed to prevail and will perform on away ice with at least a one game edge. Let’s go Blackhawks!
