HAWKS MISSED THE FLIGHT by Momma Gouche

My Chicago Blackhawks had no spark going into Thursday nights game against the Minnesota Wild. With a 2-1 lead, one would expect they would be keen to get a 3-1 edge. The Wild had 31 shots on goal while the Hawks only managed twenty. Minnesota play a solid game, but not one of desperation. Marion Hossa played his usual style, but no one else showed any aggression.  Jared Spurgeon got a goal and an assist for the Wild and was picked 1st star. Matt Cooke and Marco Scandella of the Wild were the other two stars. The Hawks go home with a 2-2 situation and hopefully they can put up a better performance on home ice. They are now in a series as they ley the Wild back in it.
