by Momma Gouche     It was an afternoon of wrist shots, as four of the five goals in the game were scored in that manner. Jonathan Toews got the first goal for the Chicago Blackhawks in the first period , assisted by Marian Hossa and Bryan Bickell. Brandon Saad scored in the second and Bickell picked up his second assist. Cody McCormick scored the lone goal for the Minnesota Wild 2 minutes into the third. Now the game got iffy as the Hawks were being outplayed by the Wild and it looked like there could be another upset …. as the Hawks were being out-played and only up by one. But Bryan Bickell broke in to give the Hawks the reassurance goal … Brandon Saad added an empty netter. The Blackhawks fans could let out their breathe. There were only 3 penalties meted out. Needless to say Bryan Bickell was the star of the game. As the next game will be away, the Blackhawks need to sharpen their skills.
