Leafs Fall To Last Place Sabres by Momma Gouche

The Toronto Maple Leafs got one lonely goal on Friday night in their game against the last place Buffalo Sabres. Trevor Smith scored for the Leafs @ 6:25 of the second period, but the Sabres took over from there and blew away the Leafs 3-1. Carl Erhardt got his first goal of the season and Buffalo got their second straight win. Not an impressive game for the Leafs, who have been holding their own in the league, but a good game for the Sabres, who need to pull themselves out of the cellar.
