Jackets Blow The Leafs Away by Momma Gouche

Brandon Dubinsky got his first NHL goal, a power play goal, in the 1st period and assisted on an empty net goal in the 3rd,  in the game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night. At 19:33 of the third the leafs were down 3-2 and pulled goalie, Jonathan Bernier, to add another attacker. To no avail … as Ryan Johansen scored to widen the gap to 2. Twenty seconds later Nick Foligno scored to give the Jackets a 5-2 win. It was a rare home game win for the Jackets against the Leafs. The game was very scruffy with 13 senseless penalties. The win puts Columbus in double figure points of 10.
