Hawks Are Back In Flight by Momma Gouche

Rookie Brandon Pirri’s goal and a an assist were the deciding factors in the Chicago Black Hawks’  3-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night. After, what I consider to be a shaky start, the Hawks are now tied with the Leafs with 12 points. The Leafs have helped the Hawks get the St Louis Blues off of their back by besting the Blues at critical times. Toronto and Chicago will meet only once more in the season on December 14th in Toronto. While Jonathon Bernier again mishandled the puck, causing a goal, he did ward off 37 shots compared to 20 shots on Corey Crawford. Hopefully my Hawks are back on stream and will continue to keep pace with the winners.
