Blackhawks Still On Top Of Their Game By Momma Gouche

Even though the Washington Capitals’ Mickael Grabovski, with 3 goals, did his darndest to shoot down the Hawks Tuesday night in the opening game of the 2013-14 series, the Hawks kept on flying to a 6-4 win. There were moments of doubt when Grabovski tied the game in the third period and then put Washington ahead on a 4 on 4. But the Hawks pulled out their talons and scored three goals, including an empty net insurance, and a 6-4 victory was theirs. I am expecting great things from the Hawks, but teams like the Capitals, Pittsburg Penguins and the Detroit Red Wings will not give them an easy run.
