The Hawks Strike Early by Momma Gouche

Andrew Shaw scored @ 1:58 of the 1st in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Kings, and Brent Seabrook scored jn the dying minute, to put the Chicago Blackhawks up 2-0 at the end of the period. Bryan Bickell got a power play goal in the second and Mikal Handzus tallied  2 minutes later. The Hawks were ahead 4-0. After having played so steady in the previous rounds Jonathon Quick was replaced by Jonathan Bernier. At 11:15 of the third 5 penalties were meted out for fighting and a 2nd penalty was given to Michal Rozsival for cross checking. It took some time to sort out the whole melee and I thought goalie,Corey Crawford ,was penalized for hitting with his stick, but I didn’t see it in the stats. On a penalty to Duncan Keith, Tyler Toffoli scored a power play goal for the Kings. The game ended 4-2 for Chicago and they go ahead 2-0 in the round. We Blackhawk fans should not get the idea that the round is going to be a cinch, as the Kings have a record of not scoring too many on the road. Tuesday night the game is in Los Angeles.
