Alfredsson Proves His Worth by Momma Gouche

41 year ol Daniel Alfredsson, Captain of the Ottawa Senators, came threw for his team with the tying goal in Sundays’game with the Pittsburgh Penguins.  …. with 29 seconds left in regulation. Who would have believed it!  Age is no barrier to this determined  veteran. Ottawa took 7 0f the 11 penalties, but the Pens were not able to capitalize on any..And who should come up with the winner? Colin Greening got the third goal of his career in the second overtime.One goal in his last three outings.There were 98 shots on the two goalies, but both of them stood up well; until Alfredsson slide one past Tomas Vokoun … on a deflection … to give Ottawa a 2-1 win. Not the outcome most fans would have expected, but the home town fans were ecstatic.
