Leafs Still Blowing By Momma Gouche

Most people (including myself) felt that the Toronto Maple Leafs would fall victim to the Bears (Boston Bruins) on Friday night, but the Leafs are still afloat and going home for game six on Sunday night. The game was fats paced and the Leafs seemed to be destined tonight. They out played and out shot the Bruins in the first period but there was no scoring. Tyler Bozak of the Leafs scored a short handed goal in the second and Clarke MacArthur added another at the start of the third but then it was all Boston. James Reimer was the answer for the barrage and ended up first star. The Bruins finally solved Reimer on a shot from Chara which would be the only puck to beat the Leafs goaltender. There were 77 combined shots on goal, 5 penalties, only 3 goals … none of them on the powerplay. Both goalies played outstanding and now the series moves to Toronto Sunday night for game 6. Toronto fans do not give up the “beleaf”…..it has happened before!
