Leafs Had Their Day On Saturday by Momma Gouche

It looks as though the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to have a tough time staying in the series against the Boston Bruins. The Bruins were probably too lay back on Saturday, but Boston was out in force on Monday, allowing Toronto only 2 power play goals in their 5-2 victory. The Leafs are up against probably the toughest team in the league and I think they will not last past five games. The Washington Capitals,on the other hand, better sharpen up their blades. They played adequately in the first two periods, but not like a team that was up 2-0 in the series. After the New York Rangers tied the score late in the second period the Caps didn’t come out in the third with any great challenge, allowing the Rangers to go ahead 3-2 early in the period. Jay Beagle tied the game again at 7:15, but Derek Stepan got the 4-3 winning  gaol at 13:35. The series is now at 2-1 Capitals. Something that I did not expect at the beginning of the series.
