The Plight Of The Jets by Momma Gouche

Fortunately the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Carolina Hurricanes  5-3 on Tuesday night, which keeps the Hurricanes off the Winnipeg Jets back. Unfortunately The Washington Capitals and Alex Ovechkin downed the Montreal Canadiens 3-2. Fortunately the Winnipeg Jets won their game against the Buffalo Sabres 4-1. However, that still leaves the Jets at square one … behind the Capitals. The Jets played a very credible game on Tuesday night and if they continue to be focused, and aggressively storm the net, they won’t have to depend on other teams to do the winning for them. I believe they have 8 more games and must win more than the Capitals.      Meanwhile the Toronto Maple Leafs look like they are headed in the right direction and should … finally … make the playoffs.
