A Look At The Playoff Run by Momma Gouche

The Chicago Blackhawks came out of the paddock and swept the course for many games, but the Anaheim Ducks have narrowed the gap of late.        There is no doubt the Hawks will be in there at the finish line, but have no assurance they will be first overall  —- if they do not step up their pace. The Toronto Maple leafs are still in a position for a spot, but they will have to get focused around the net, stay out of the penalty box and sharpen their defense. The Winnipeg Jets and the New York Rangers are breathing down their necks.        Now to a look at my Jets. They took over 8th position from the Rangers Thursday night and are getting close to being able to oust the Carolina Hurricanes from first in the Southeast Division. The superb efforts of Andrej Pavelec and Dustin Byfuglien has been the mainstay of the success of the Winnipeg Jets. Go — Jets — Go!
