Jets Get Help From Devils by Momma Gouche

The New Jersey Devils laced the Washington Capitals 5-0 on  Friday night; thus leaving the Winnipeg Jets in 8th position. But the New York Rangers blew a 2-0 lead against the Tampa Bay Lightning and finally lost in overtime. Strangely enough I am following certain teams I wish to lose. The sqeeze for the finally play-off spot in the Southeast is getting tighter, so instead of enjoying a game in which my team wins, I’m relishing in teams losing that might best the Jets in the standings. The Toronto Maple Leafs meet the Montreal Canadiens tonight (Saturday) and it is … definitely … a must win. The Tampa Bay Lightning play the Carolina Hurricanes and I’m anxiously looking for Lightning to lose their strike. The Jets have been idle the last couple of days, which is allowing some of their closest rivals to catch up on games played and  losing … I hope.
