Jets Still Hurricanes

Dustin Byfuglien scored 34 seconds into the first period and Evander Kane followed at 5:04 to give the Winnipeg Jets a 2-0 lead over the Carolina Hurricanes Friday night. Tim Stapleton and Bryan Little got power play goals at 10:16 and 11.28  of the second and the Jets were up 4-0 at the end of the period. Justin Faulk scored for Carolina at 10:16 of the third and Brandon Sutter got a power play goal at 12:30, but that was all the Hurricanes could breeze by the goalie Chris Mason, and Winnipeg won 4-2.  The Jets have four straight wins and head to Detroit to challenge the Red Wings on Saturday.
