Jets In Wrong Flight Pattern – Twice. by Momma Gouche

Tuesday night the Winnipeg Jets were up 2-1 15 minutes into the second period, in their game against the Ottawa Senators. That lead slipped away when the Senators scored two, to end the period 3-2 for Ottawa. Two goals, roughly a minute apart, put the Jets ahead 4-3. It looked like they had found the momentum and desire to win. But they quickly lost the pattern, both offensively and defensively, to hold the senators back. Ottawa scored three more goals against a team that had totally left themselves wide open. The Jets out shot the Senators 43-34, and could have… and should have … won that game. It was a case of sloppy and unorganized play.
