Jets Engines Idle by Momma Gouche

When Evander Kane scored at 9:31 and Dusten Byfuglien scored 39 seconds later, in the first period of the Winnipeg Jets/Boston Bruins game on Saturday night, it appeared as though the Jets were on the right wave lenght. Then they took two costly penalties in the first ( as well as four other in the game). The Bruins came on like block busters when Zedeno Chara got a power play goal in the first, followed by two goals by Chris Kelly ( one of them a short handed ) and an empty net goal by Brad Maarchand in the third. Winnipeg was left in their own jet stream and Boston won 4-2.
