Leafs Bolt The Lightning by Momma Gouche

41 seconds into the game Tuesday night between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning Clarke MacArthur scored the first goal for the Leafs. Tampa Bay’s Vincent Lecavalier scored for the Lightning, but they never struck again. It was a complete team effort, with several of the players getting one or more points. Tim Connolly got a goal and two assists and Joe Colborne scored his first ever NHL goal. There were 14 penalties, but only 3 power play goals. The Leaf lines seem to be in sync with one another and executed some excellent plays. If the team continues to play with this intensity, they should have no difficulty in … at last … making the play-offs.
