Sid Sidles Back With Verve and Elan by Momma Gouche

Sidney Crosby took to the ice like it had been just like yesterday. Early on he had just missed an assist when the puck hit the post. But five minutes later he got his first of two goals … and added two assists by the end of the game. The Pittsburgh Penguins owned the ice Monday night as the New York Islanders didn’t manage a single point in the 5-0 final. Pascal Dupuis assisted the first two goals and the last: while Evgeni Malkin got a power play goal and an assist. What a night for Crosby and the Penguins. The fans never let up their enthusiasm for their favorite star and his ability to return just as skillful and exciting as he had been last January when he was injured.
