Flames Light A Big Spark by Momma Gouche

Lee Stemniak led off the scoring for the Chicago Blackhawks Friday night at 5:41, but Viktor Stalberg scored a minute later to tie the game 1-1. The Flames put on the burners early in the second period with Rene Bourque and Paul Byron scoring 17 seconds apart, to put Calgary ahead 3-1. Chicago’s Marion Hossa posted one for the Blackhawks, but then Curtis Glencross took over and scored at 11:04 of the second and 6:6 0f the third. It was 2 goals and an assist for Glencross and he now leads with 7 goals for the season. The Flames have not scored 5 goals in quite some time.
