The Jets Have Jetlag by Momma Gouche

The rookie, Ryan Johansen, scored 53 seconds into Saturday night’s game between the Winnipeg Jets and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He scored again in at 4:06 of the second period, to give the Blue Jackets a 2-0 lead. Johansen has scored the winning goal in all three of the team’s victories. Mark Stuart scored the only goal for the Jets. It was a lackluster game that saw 6 penalties for Columbus and 5 for Winnipeg; with no power play goals. The Jets outshot the Blue Jackets 36-27. This has been a rough two weeks for Winnipeg; as after 14 days on the road and only one game at home, they had another game away. Somehow they received a bad scheduling; which obviously has affected their energy to give a more intense effort.
