The Leafs Are Falling…by Momma Gouche

Toronto Maple Leafs took another rather large loss on Tuesday night against the Florida Panthers. Florida were up 4-0 by the beginning of the third. Leaf’s goalie, Jonas Gustavsson, was replaced by Ben Scrivens, after giving up back to back goals in the second period. Toronto’s lone goal was scored by Phil Kessel to extend to 11 for the season. Florida’s goals were scored by Jack Skille, Marco Sturm, Tomas Kopecky, Sean Bergenheim and Shawn Matthias. The Leafs are still up in the higher points, but cannot afford more back to back losses, and their goaltending has to improve.
