Don Cherry’s Milieu In Chicago…by Momma Gouche

The game between the Chicago Black Hawks and the Vancouver Canucks was fraught with eighteen penalties; with ten given to the Hawks and eight to the Canucks. Daniel Carcillo was the recipient of five. Vancouver capitalized on 4 of their power plays and Chicago scored on none. The Sedin brothers came to put their mark on the game and Henrik had a goal and 3 assists while Daniel had a goal and 2 assists. Although there was some good solid hockey played by David Booth, Alexander Edler and the Sedins, the roughing and fighting took the enjoyment out of the game. The Hawks and the Canucks are my two favorite teams, but I only watched the game with one eye.
