Vancouver In A Slump By Momma Gouche

Unfortunately The Vancouver Canucks (the third Canadian team to play Thursday night) are not keeping up to their other homeland teams. The Canucks got their one and only goal from Dan Hamhuis at 2:20 of the first period against the Minnesota Wild. From then on the game all went Wild. The game was fraught with penalties for both teams: from Hooking, tripping, fighting, to 3 misconducts. It was not a nice game to watch. Giullaume Letendresse, Pierre-marc Bouchard and Marc Scandella had goals in the second . Matt Cullen pick up two in the third. The Sedin brothers contributed very little other than an assist and two penalties. The Canucks had four power play chances, but fell short on them all. They were outshot 45-25. The Vancouver Canucks were not the team they used to was last season.
