Canucks Win In OT…by Momma Gouche

After three, almost consecutive, penalties Saturday night the Vancouver Canucks were fortunate to come out of the first period only one down on the Minnesota Wild. The steady Daniel Sedin got a power play goal in the second, but two minutes later the Wild scored again … and the Canucks were down 2-1 at the end of the period. Jannik Hansen tied the game at 2:06 of the third; which prevailed through regulation play. Sam Salo put one away at 4:36 in overtime, and Vancouver came away with a win. The Canucks now have 9 points; which means they have to put more effort into their games; as the Washington Capitals lead with 14.
