Bruins Sweeps The Flyers…by Momma Gouche

Boston’s Milan Lucic snapped a puck passed Serge Bobrovsky at 12:02 to open the scoring Friday night in game four against the Philadelphia Flyers. There were nine penalties in the first period … 5 for the Flyers and 4 for the Bruins. Boston outshot Philadelphia 13-6. Mike Richards lost all of his face-offs in the first period. Philadelphia’s’ Kris Versteeg scored at 13:22 to tie the score 1-1. Boston’s Johnny Boychuk scored at 2:42 of the second.  There was a lot of scrapping and pushing in the period and perhaps some penalties should have been called. Boston’s’ Milan Lucic got his second of the game (perhaps of the series) at 2:42 and Boston is ahead 2-1. Brad Marchand scores into the empty net at 18;04 and Daniel Paille scores another empty net at 19:35. It was a game loaded with penalties that nobody really gained from. The game ended 5-1 and the Boston Bruins had defeated The Philadelphia Flyers 4-0 in the series
