THe Sharks Are Ripe For the Kill…Momma Gouche

The San Jose Sharks are on the brink of ending the round of the second series with the Detroit Red Wings. The game Wednesday night was a total seesaw performance with 4 power play goals out of 7. Tampa Bay started the scoring at 12:51 with a power play goal from Devin Setoguchi. Detroit’s Nicklas Lidstrom replied with a power Play goal at 19:38 of the first. At 13:59 Patrick Patrick Eaves backhanded a shot past Antti Niemi to put Detroit up 2-1 in the second. The Sharks tied it up again at 14:49 with another power play goal, but Pavel Datsyuk replied with another power play tally at 18:17 to give Detroit the edge again. It took San Jose until 15:52 of the third to put the thought of another overtime decision into play. Dan Boyle snapped one past Jimmy Howard at 9:21 of overtime and the game began and ended with a goal by Devin Setoguchi (his hat trick) and San Jose went ahead 4-3 in the game and 3-0 in the series. Overtime has become the byword in this series.
