Kesler Ends Drought…by Momma Gouche

After a lengthy scoreless period Ryan Kesler, not only got a power play goal at nothing time in the second, but nets another power play tally in (another round of OT) at 10:45. Thus giving ardent hockey fans another hour of sleep on Tuesday night. Double overtime had become quite prevalent in the series. David Legwand scored a short-handed goal at 10:18 of the first, But Kesler even the score at 01:00 of the second. The Canucks had done a great job in killing off penalties and had out-shot the Predators 23-12. Chris Higgins put the Canucks ahead 2-1 three minutes into the third, but Nashville tied it up again at 13:18. Thus the overtime, and Kesler becomes the hero at 10:45 to put Vancouver up 2-1 in the series.
