The Sharks Prevail…by Momma Gouche

 The San Sharks took the first penalty, of many, in the opening of the San Jose Skarks/Detroit Red Wings game on Sunday night. They played off that 2 minutes and Ian White scored on a power play at 4:54. Penalties, penalties, and more penalties were the main stay of the game, and there were no more goals through the second period. The Sharks’, Nicolas Wallen, puts one in at 1:39 and San Jose is ahead 2-0. At 13:58 of the third Detroit’s, Henrik Zetterberg, tallies for the Wings, But the game ends 2-1. Of the 15 penalties the Sharks took 8. With so many penalties it is surprising that there weren’t more power play goal, but Antti Niemi and Jimmy Howard were pretty solid in net. San Jose came away with a 2-0 lead in the series.
