Bruins’ Lucic to play in Game 7

Some might believe that the Boston Bruins got a huge break on Wednesday when it was revealed by coach, Claude Julien, that their bruising forward, Milan Lucic, will in fact be playing in Game 7 at home against the Montreal Canadiens. Lucic, who is known for not only scoring but also his rough game, went over the line during Tuesday’s Game 6, when early in the second period he received a major and game misconduct for boarding. On the play Lucic, who was a 30 goal scorer this past season, got over zealous when he ran full speed into Canadiens defenceman, Jaroslav Spacek, from behind. Spacek, who is a key veteran player, was dizzy and needed medical attention, but came back into the game. Meanwhile, Julien whose team finished third in the Eastern Conference with 103 points, is being coy about how he’ll address the team prior to Game 7 puck drop.  You’ll probably find out after the game, what I’ve done,” said Julien, whose team lost that Game 6 by a 2-1 score. “I’m not going to stand up here and give away my approach to the game before it starts.”
