Momma Gouche Doesn’t Like The Taste OF Crows Or Hawks

The Chicago Blackhawks put the first nail in Canada’s and Momma Gouche’s hopes to raise the coveted Stanley Cup, when Marion Hossa scores ( his first goal of the playoffs) a power play goal at 5:54 into the first period on Thursday night. Then Duncan Keith scores 24 seconds later to put the Hawks up 2-0. Chicago scores a third by Patrick Kane at 12:17 and the Canucks are down 3-0.The Hawks are soaring. I have stated loud and clear that the Blackhawks are my lifetime favorite team, but now they are besting our Canadian heritage.(Canada’s game). It appeared as though Vancouver showed up late for the game in the first period and were totally out played … when they did … in their own back yard. The Canucks replaced Luongo in the second, but The Hawks had the game well in control at this point. Marian Hossa scores at 1:26 (his second goal of the game and series) and Duncan Keith (with 2 goals and 2 assists) adds to that at 4:47 to put the score at 5:0. There is no further scoring in the third and the Hawks had the game well in hand. Corey Crawford had his first shut out in his career. He had warded off 30 shots. The Hawks were looking like the team that won the Cup last year. Vancouver will have to take another look at their game plan, as this is not the team that won three in a row to begin the series.
