Lightning versus Penguins

Simultaneously watching two hockey games and trying to put the right teams and players in the right venue is no easy task.  However       The Tampa Bay Lightning didn’t lose any time getting their game plan together as Eric Brewer scored two minutes into the game and Cavalier scored at 6:05 on a power play. At 17:02 Nate Thompson gave the lightning a three goal lead. There were six penalties meted out in the first period but only one resulted in a power play goal. The Pittsburg Penguins finally got on the score board with a goal by Craig Adams at 9:08 of the second. Things got a little scrappy in the second, which didn’t bode well for the trailing Penguins, as they became easily intimidated. There was no more scoring until Tampas’ Martin St Louis put one away at 19:46. There were few penalties and no goals until 17:37 of the third, when Mattias Stamkos scored to give the Lightning a 5-1 victory.
