Paddock Gives His Opinion On The Mess In Ottawa

Former Senators Coach John Paddock Gives His Opinion

Former Ottawa Senators coach John Paddock wasn’t shy about expressing his opinion on what the Senators next move should be.

Playing out the string in what has been a miserable season, Ottawa’s general manager Bryan Murray recently fired his rookie coach Craig Hartsburg after only 48 games, which Paddock believes was a huge mistake.

“The players are not very good, that’s the problem,” Paddock who was fired almost a year ago by Murray said.

This veteran coach who had the Senators 14 games over .500 at the time of his firing believes that the next person who should be on the hot seat is Murray who was responsible for getting a majority of the current Ottawa players.

“I think now he’s next in line,” Paddock who now coaches the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League said. “Whether the coaches he hired and fired were good or not, they’re his players and they’re either not playing good or can’t play, one or the other.”

Not only is Paddock pointing his finger at Murray but so are the fans who have made their opinions known that Murray may have worn out his welcome in the nations capital.
