Capitals’ Ovechkin Wins First Hart Trophy
 
            Left wing Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals has captured the Hart Memorial Trophy in 2007-2008, awarded “to the player adjudged to be the most valuable to his team,” as selected by the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association.
